Real Fortnite cannot run in a browser tab, so here is an honest stand-in: Island Battle Royale, a free single-player battle royale served from fortnite-unblocked.org. Press Play, jump from the plane, and be the last one standing.
Why this is not Fortnite — and what you get instead
Fortnite does not run in a web browser. Epic only ships it for PC, consoles and phones, and the cloud-streaming versions need an account and a fast connection. Every page that promises "Fortnite unblocked" in a browser is either a video, a fake, or a different game wearing Fortnite's name. This site used to be one of those: its old front page framed a GitHub copy of a Chinese battle royale and called it Fortnite. We kept the game, translated it into English, host it ourselves, and call it what it is.
Island Battle Royale is a single-player battle royale by DiaoChangNan, first released on 4399 in 2018. A plane flies over a small island. You press F to jump, F again to open the parachute, and land among houses, warehouses and a half-built tower block. Inside are rifles (M4A1, AK47, SCAR, HK417), SMGs (MP5, P90), an M249 machine gun, the Kar98K and SKS for long range, 2x, 4x and 8x scopes, vests and helmets in three levels, and bandages, painkillers, first aid kits, med kits and soda for health. There is even a frying pan.
The other players are bots, from 5 to 30 of them, at Easy, Normal or Hard. A timer counts down the match (10 minutes by default), the safe zone closes in, and anyone caught outside it is eliminated. Win and the game says WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER; the menu keeps your games, wins, kills and win rate. What it does not have is Fortnite's building, its map, its skins or other people — say so to yourself before you start, and it is a surprisingly complete little battle royale.

How to win more matches
- Jump late, land near houses: The plane crosses the whole island. Jump when it is over a cluster of buildings — guns and ammo spawn together, and every house is a chance at armour.
- Pick up the right ammo: Each gun uses one ammo type (5.56, 7.62 or 9mm), and ammo spawns near guns. A rifle with no matching rounds is just weight in your backpack.
- Heal at the right time: Bandages and first aid kits do nothing above 75 health; a med kit fills you up. Heal behind a wall, not in the open — using an item can be interrupted.
- Watch the timer and the zone: The clock at the top right is the match; the circle on the minimap is the safe zone. Move early — the zone kills slowly, but it never misses.
- Start with fewer, easier bots: 5 players on Easy is a good first match. The menu itself says fewer players runs smoother, which matters on a school Chromebook.
- Use cover and height: Let the bots come to you. Fight from a doorway or an upper floor with a scoped rifle and most of them never reach you.
