A round is short and readable. You drop in, grab the coins lying around, and look for a bot to hit before someone hits you. Rockets fly in an arc, so every shot is a small physics problem: how far away is the target, how high are the hills between you, and will the explosion also shove you off your own ledge?

How to play

Use the mouse to aim and the movement keys (WASD) to drive your bot across the terrain. Click inside the game once before you start so the keyboard input reaches it. Fire with the mouse, and pay attention to the angle of your aim, not just its direction, because the rocket drops as it travels.

The match has three things to juggle at once: the other bots, the coins scattered over the island, and the rising water. Coins are worth the detour when the area is quiet, but the water shrinks the safe ground as the round goes on, so a greedy route can leave you stranded low down.

• Stay on higher ground when you can. It gives you a longer view and keeps you out of the water for longer.
• Watch where your own explosions land. Blasts near your feet can push you around, so avoid firing at targets right beside you when you are standing on an edge.
• Take one test shot at a new distance and adjust your arc from where it lands, rather than spending several rockets guessing.
• Do not chase every coin. Collect the ones on your way and keep your position as the water rises.
